I normally wear a 7 or a 7.5 in Jeffrey Campbell. I adore his shoes; the styles, the craftsmanship and the durability. I own over 50 pairs. Including MANY varieties of the famous "LITA." I was excited to see this new take on my favorite boot, but when they arrived, I could not WAIT to exchange them for another shoe. The shoe is narrow, so sizing up is a must ((I went with an 8)), but that is not an issue. The major issue is that the slimmer heel throws off the entire architecture of the shoe. The chunky body and front platform look completely out of proportion. I have been looking for a black "LITA" with a black heel, but even though these fit the bill in color, the awkward look of them is why they are going back. The sole being a lighter brown than most JC "LITA" shoes is another drawback. It just doesn't look the way a JC shoe should :/ I say, GO WITH THE ORIGINAL SHOE. ...
