Last season, designers and fashion people decided they loved comfortable sandals, for better or for worse. First, we saw many celebrities rocking Birkenstocks . Then, androgynous Adidas and Nike shower slide made their way into the luxury market, and of course, how could we forget that summer 2014 was the season of flatforms . As we begin to bare our toes to embrace the warmer weather, it looks like designers aren’t stepping away from these styles just yet. In fact, they’re dressing them up. On their own, these shoes tend toward androgyny, but with a few embellishments, they feel a little bit more feminine. They don’t lose any of the comfort, of course.
