James Long’s passion for texture and colour exploded onto the catwalk at the Old Sorting Office in London last night. The Kurt Geiger London collaboration went down a storm, especially the half horse hair, half plastic double strap shoes worn with yellow and orange socks. The beat on the street confirmed that street style starlets will be onto a clear winner if wearing something plastic fantastic! The boundaries of normality and acceptance have moved on and James Long and Kurt Geiger say it’s cool to wear socks with see through shoes. I would definitely agree. The collaboration launches in stores from September. We wait in anticipation for the real sock show to begin! *Scarlett
